We seek a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting, to serve as a subject matter expert in Business Combinations (ASC 805) and Financial Instruments (ASC 470, 480, 815), guiding engagements across Technology, SaaS, AI, Fintech, and other growth industries.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in technical accounting, advisory, or audit.
• Deep expertise in ASC 805, ASC 470, ASC 480, and ASC 815.
• Experience analyzing complex debt instruments, convertible securities, and embedded derivatives.
• Proven ability to draft technical memos independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical specialist on business combinations and financial instruments.
• Draft technical accounting memos, including purchase accounting analyses and debt/equity classification assessments.
• Provide real-time guidance to engagement teams navigating complex transactions.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables such as technical memos and presentations explaining accounting conclusions.
• Collaborate with directors and partners to ensure consistent technical positions across engagements.
• Coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting documentation.
• Mentor managers and seniors and provide technical oversight on complex workstreams.
• Contribute to building standardized methodologies and templates for the firm’s technical accounting practice.
