Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Managing Director to lead and grow the Financial Advisory Services within the Office of the CFO Accounting Advisory practice. The role concentrates on complex technical accounting, GAAP/IFRS, and financial instruments for private equity clients, serving CFOs and finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting/finance; CPA/CFA preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting advisory, preferably in Big 4 or top-tier consulting.
• Private equity industry experience and proven ability to lead complex engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements from technical accounting support to IPO readiness and interim CFO advisory.
• Drive client profitability and cross-functional team delivery.
• Build and nurture senior client relationships and expand repeat business.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, regulatory frameworks, and financial instruments.
• Travel as needed to client sites and engagements.
