Job summary

Generate Capital, Inc. seeks a Manager, Technical Accounting to deliver high-quality analyses, draft accounting policies, and assist with new transactions. This role reports to the Director, Accounting Diligence and Integration and collaborates with Investments, Legal, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Asset Management.

The ideal candidate combines audit and industry experience with deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and will support acquisitions, financing arrangements, and policy development while driving

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA (or international equivalent).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 and corporate/transaction exposure.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge with emphasis on revenue, leases, business combinations, and consolidation.
• Excellent analytical, Excel, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting analyses and drafting of accounting policies.
• Review portfolio entity statements for policy alignment.
• Support acquisition diligence, purchase accounting, and integration.
• Collaborate with external auditors and cross-functional teams.
• Educate the organization through training materials.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines in a dynamic environment.
