Job summary

Spire is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting to elevate accounting rigour, ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition, and strengthen global consolidation processes. You will translate GAAP guidance into actionable guidance for executives and non‑accountants.

The role partners with cross‑functional teams across the U.S. and internationally, drafting memos and maintaining policies aligned with SEC and GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting background.
• Hands-on ASC 606/842/805/810/718 experience and memo writing.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP guidance including ASC 606/842/805/810/718.
• Author technical accounting memos outlining conclusions for complex transactions.
• Lead revenue recognition and global consolidation processes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal, and Finance during contracts and disclosures.
