Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to own the company’s ASC 606 technical positions, lead the revenue accounting memo portfolio, and serve as the senior accounting decision-maker for new product revenue treatments and non-standard deal structures.

You will partner with Deal Desk, Product, Legal, and Partnerships, set technical revenue policy direction, oversee SSP analysis and contract modification frameworks, and provide guidance on complex revenue arrangements across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 14+ years of progressive accounting experience with ASC 606
• Experience leading technical revenue leadership or managerial roles
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition for SaaS/tech
• SQL proficiency for data analysis

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 606 technical accounting memo portfolio and SSP studies
• Lead technical revenue assessment for new products and programs
• Provide authoritative guidance to Product, Pricing, and GTM teams
• Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal and Partnerships on complex deals
