Job summary

Spire is seeking a senior technical accounting professional to lead complex GAAP interpretations and memo writing within a hybrid work model. The role focuses on ASC 606/842/805, revenue recognition, and global consolidation across subsidiaries.

You will partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliant, well‑documented positions and robust internal controls. The ideal candidate has a CPA, 6+ years in accounting (Big 4 preferred), and proven ability to translate intricate standards for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA license is mandatory.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 or national firm preferred.
• Strong command of ASC 606/842/805/810/718 and proficiency in memo writing.
• Experience with multi‑element revenue arrangements and GAAP to guidance translation.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply complex U.S. GAAP guidance across ASC 606/842/805/810/718.
• Author technical accounting memos outlining conclusions for complex transactions.
• Oversee revenue accounting across streams and collaborate on contract terms.
• Manage monthly/quarterly consolidation and support 10‑Q/10‑K disclosures.
