Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting to support the ASDS SBU in a hybrid role based in the Tucson area. The position focuses on reviewing contracts for revenue recognition timing, EAC packages, and applying U.S. GAAP to finance activities.

Responsibilities include policy harmonization, data analysis, audit support, and documentation of accounting judgments. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, or 5 with advanced degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical Accounting point of contact for the Raytheon ASDS SBU.
• Assess new awards for revenue recognition and booking timing.
• Review quarterly EAC packages for long-term contracts.
• Apply U.S. GAAP and company policies to finance activities.
• Participate in policy harmonization, data analysis and testing.
• Support external/internal audit activities and ad-hoc requests.
• Support internal controls activities with SBU Assistant Controller.
• Document accounting judgments in white papers and memoranda.
• Review contracts for accounting treatment and estimates at completion.
