Wiz is seeking a Technical Account Manager, SLED to drive adoption of the Wiz platform among State and Local agencies and universities in the United States.
You will serve as the bridge between customers and Wiz teams, guiding deployment and security hardening while aligning with federal cloud-security best practices. Strong communication and problem-solving are required to engage stakeholders at all levels from practitioners to executives.
Strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills will be essential in addressing the needs of our customersPractical experience deploying and operationalizing containerization technologies (such as Docker or Kubernetes) and addressing corresponding security considerationsPractical experience deploying and operationalizing DevOps technologies (such as CI/CD, Version Control Systems, or Infrastructure as Code) and managing their security implicationsPractical experience navigating the Government authorization processes such as FedRAMP or GovRAMP and guiding customers through rigorous security and hardening requirements (such as NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171)4+ years of experience working in or supporting State, Local, or Education (SLED) organizationsB.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience with Linux and Windows operating system security concepts and technical troubleshooting4+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles supporting cloud or cloud-security products (such as Technical Account Manager, Professional Services, or Solutions Engineer)Experience delivering cloud solutions across at least one major CSP (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), and direct experience with their government-specific offerings (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP Assured Workloads)CSP certifications (such as Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional)Security certifications (such as CISSP or CCSP) and experience helping organizations address complex cloud-security challengesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical practitioners to Senior Executive Service (SES) members, Military Officers, and Agency CISOsExceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve highly complex technical issues, driving resolution across intricate and often ambiguous internal and external structures
