RunPod delivers GPU‑accelerated infrastructure that powers AI/ML workloads at scale. Our two‑sided marketplace matches customers’ compute demand with a global network of secure host partners. We’re growing fast and need a Host‑focused Technical Account Manager who can safeguard and expand the backbone of our supply side.

As our Technical Account Manager (Host), you will own the relationships and day‑to‑day operations for 20+ secure host partners—each representing Millions in hardware value and instrumental to Runpods revenue model. You’ll be their strategic advisor, technical translator, and incident commander, ensuring rock‑solid uptime while unlocking new capacity and revenue for RunPod. This is a high‑visibility role that blends account management, infrastructure know‑how, and process automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all host partners and inbound prospects
  • Build trust with diverse stakeholders—from data‑center engineers to C‑suite executives
  • Lead incident communications with calm, concise updates
  • Re‑engage churned partners and upsell additional capacity
  • Run quarterly business reviews to surface growth opportunities
  • Own all ticketing, documentation, and contract workflows (Zendesk, DocuSign, Notion, Linear)
  • Track payments and resolve billing issues
  • Maintain a living partner database with certifications, hardware inventories, and KPIs
  • Benchmark and list new hardware, ensuring specs meet RunPod requirements
  • Publish partner dashboards and health reports
  • Translate partner feedback into product and engineering tickets
  • Build lightweight automations for onboarding emails, status pings, and report generation
  • Keep partner guides, runbooks, and onboarding materials current
  • Support the sales team with supply‑side data and competitive intelligence
  • Orchestrate cross‑functional response during outages; manage expectations and recovery timelines
  • Maintain 24/7 escalation protocols and emergency contact lists
  • Perform post‑incident retros and drive preventative actions

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of GPU infrastructure, cloud architecture, and server hardware
  • Proficient with ticketing/project tools (Zendesk, Linear) and documentation platforms (Notion)
  • Familiarity with process‑automation tools (Zapier, Workato, or similar)
  • Understanding of contract workflows and basic financial reconciliation
  • 5+years in partner, account, or customer‑success roles—in B2B infrastructure, cloud, or hardware environments
  • Proven ownership of $1M+ accounts with measurable growth results
  • History of collaborating closely with engineering and sales
  • Clear, empathetic written and verbal communication
  • Steady leadership under pressure; adept at crisis comms
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and relentlessly proactive.
  • Successful completion of a background check

Preferred:

  • Sys Admin or high level technical support experience
  • Background, AI/ML, or HPC
  • Demonstrated success scaling partner‑onboarding programs
  • Startup or high‑growth environment exposure

What You’ll Receive:

  • The competitive base pay for this position ranges from ($140,000 - $180,000). This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Runpod and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location
