About The Job

Red Hat's Technical Services team is seeking an enterprise engineer with expertise in automation technologies to work remotely within the U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zone. This role involves partnering with key enterprise customers to provide architectural guidance and implementation support for the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You will act as a liaison between the customer, Red Hat, and other teams to facilitate communication, coordination, and collaboration for successful deployment and optimization of Red Hat’s solutions. The role requires a blend of technical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication to ensure stakeholder alignment and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting enterprise customers in implementing Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform solutions
• Serving as the primary advocate for customers within Red Hat, fostering cross-team collaboration
• Providing updates on Red Hat portfolio roadmaps, assisting with product upgrades and deployments
• Staying current with emerging technologies like container orchestration, microservices, and automation environments
• Specializing in Ansible Automation Platform, offering expert guidance on its application
• Conducting technical reviews to identify issues proactively and sharing knowledge across teams
• Understanding customer infrastructures, environments, and product usage
• Responding to support requests via various channels
• Advising on current and future Red Hat products and solutions
• Managing customer cases with clear documentation
• Collaborating with engineering, R&D, product management, and support teams
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through attentive support
• Visiting customer sites as needed to ensure excellent service

Qualifications:

• Experience in technical support, software engineering, or related fields
• Extensive knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and similar tools (Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
• Experience with configuration management, application deployment, and orchestration technologies
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple projects and issues concurrently
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred
• Residence within the U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zone
• Background in software engineering, Linux system administration (preferably RHEL)
• Experience with DevOps, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment is a plus

The salary range for this position is $94,550 to $151,170, based on experience and qualifications.
