Devexperts works with respected financial institutions, delivering products and tailor-made solutions for retail and brokerage houses, exchanges, and buy-side firms. The company focuses on trading platforms, brokerage automation, complex software development projects, market data products, and IT consulting services.

Job Description

Devexperts is seeking a new Account Management team member to contribute to the retention, development, and upselling of key accounts. The Account Manager will maintain excellent customer relations and strategically develop key accounts into larger revenue streams.

We expect the Account Manager to:

  • Onboard, maintain, and develop key accounts
  • Establish and maintain healthy business relationships with the customer company and its key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Maintain and increase customer satisfaction
  • Act as a point of escalation for customer issues
  • Identify new opportunities within existing customers, pitch and present Devexperts products, and conduct client demos
  • Negotiate pricing and manage the upsale process through to contract completion
  • Travel globally to meet with clients and leverage industry knowledge to improve sales, products, and account management processes
  • Prepare, approve, and manage account budgets with top management
  • Report on account performance and upselling activities
Qualifications

Must-have skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles within Software Development companies, preferably in Fintech (e.g., Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, Team Lead, Salesperson)
  • Over 5 years of experience in Software Vendor relationships or Software Development management in FX/Brokerage/Bank Trading firms (e.g., Product Owner, Project Manager, Vendor Manager, Head of Department)
  • Extensive knowledge of capital markets or online trading platforms
  • Understanding of industry software engineering practices and SDLC
  • Good industry network is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including confident communication, active listening, objections handling, conflict management, and demo skills

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with legal processes for software licensing and contracts
  • Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
