Job summary

Bloomberg Intelligence seeks a senior credit analyst to cover the US Technology high‑yield sector. You will conduct credit analysis, prepare written reports, and deliver market insights using Bloomberg data, bonds, CDS and issuer news.

Based in New York, you will collaborate with global teams, generate research ideas, and present timely recommendations to clients. Requirements include 4+ years of buy/sell side credit research and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of buy- or-sell side credit research experience
• Strong primary research and writing skills
• Knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
• Marketing experience
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Cover an array of high yield issuers in the US Technology sector
• Be responsible for providing credit research coverage
• Provide frequent research on both thematic and timely event driven analysis
• Help our clients with in-depth research and relative value thoughts on the key issuers and themes within these sectors.
• Participate in and initiate marketing events like webinars, round-tables and conferences to commercialize research ideas
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies
• Work closely with your global equity counterparts to coordinate and collaborate on analysis
