Job summary

CTG is seeking a Project Manager in Dallas, TX to lead technology, infrastructure, cloud, and application transformation initiatives onsite or hybrid for a 12-month engagement. You will drive planning, governance, delivery, and closure, coordinating cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years of enterprise project management experience, PMP certification, and a track record of managing budgets, forecasts, risks, and change

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressively responsible project management experience with complex technology or transformation initiatives.
• Experience as a Project Manager for an enterprise software/SaaS vendor or technology consulting firm.
• Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, ETC/EAC, revenue, costs, margin.
• Experience establishing and managing scope, schedule, cost, resource, risk, quality, change, and benefits baselines.
• Experience translating contracts, statements of work, milestones, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria into executable project controls.
• Experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed engagements preferred.
• Experience in enterprise technology transformation, managed services, cloud, infrastructure, or consulting preferred.
• Experience coaching project managers and improving project management practices preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing required.
• Agile, Scrum, Lean, ITIL, or additional PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology, infrastructure, cloud, application, consulting, and transformation projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and kickoff through transition, acceptance, and closure.
• Develop integrated delivery plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, dependencies, milestones, risks, quality, and acceptance criteria.
• Own project performance and drive timely decisions and corrective actions across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and customer value.
• Establish project governance, workstream accountability, decision rights, escalation paths, and communication cadences across cross-functional teams.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource demand, revenue, expenses, margin, cash flow, and financial assumptions.
• Monitor actuals, commitments, estimates to complete, estimates at completion, revenue, margin, and utilization; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate change requests for scope, schedule, resource, contractual, and financial impact and maintain appropriate documentation and approvals.
• Select and apply predictive, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Maintain project charters, integrated plans, RAID logs, stakeholder and communication plans, change and decision logs, financial baselines, benefits measures, and closure documentation.
• Lead governance reviews, health checks, retrospectives, lessons learned, and executive status reporting.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, opportunities, and recovery plans with clear ownership, due dates, escalation thresholds, and financial exposure.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, commitments, decisions, financial performance, risks, and recovery actions.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, resolve delivery conflicts, coach developing project managers, and promote accountability and collaboration.
• Coordinate operational readiness, transition, customer acceptance, benefits realization, and formal project closure.
