Job summary

Hydrogen Group in the Raleigh-Durham area is seeking a Tech Transfer Lead for a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing program. You will own the handoff from project and technical teams to the operations team that will run the facility, and ensure readiness for start-up.

This is a high-visibility role where you lead without direct authority. You will build and drive the tech transfer plan with milestones, deliverables and readiness criteria; coordinate knowledge transfer across processes,

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading tech transfer, capital projects or similar complex initiatives in pharma or biopharma.
• Experience leading tech transfer in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• The ability to set your own priorities and see actions through to completion.
• A self-starter who builds relationships across technical and operations teams.
• Nice to have: PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and drive the tech transfer plan: milestones, deliverables, dependencies, ownership and readiness criteria.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer to operations, covering processes, equipment, systems and documentation.
• Identify and manage transfer risks, issues, interfaces and changes, and escalates when needed to protect the schedule and operational readiness.
• Run governance, decision-making and communication across a wide group of stakeholders.
