Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Deep knowledge of intellectual property and commercial contract law (software, hardware, digital assets).
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) and open source license frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial and licensing agreements, intellectual property matters, and product counseling.
• Handle matters relating to cloud computing products and services, software, patents, IT procurement, supply chain, semiconductors, and AI/machine learning.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage multiple client demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to international licensing, cross-border transactions, and IP workflows in M&A or financing transactions.
