Job summary

Crossing Hurdles, a Canada-based firm, is seeking an in-house technology transactions lawyer to lead contract negotiations, perform redlining exercises and review AI-generated contract scenarios.

You will create evaluation frameworks, collaborate with product and research teams on data guidelines, and provide expert feedback to improve model performance and precision while maintaining meticulous written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in-house experience in technology transactions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and legal expertise.
• Experience with MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced settings.
• Previous exposure to AI or legal tech is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios
• Create evaluation frameworks to assess AI performance on contract tasks
