Job summary

The Professional Technologist 2 will help maintain IT systems, assist with software/hardware inventories, and resolve help desk issues to support teaching and research technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Experience providing IT support in a computer-related customer support role is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for Davis College labs and teaching/research IT needs.
• Install, update, and maintain IT systems across departments.
• Troubleshoot network issues and assist with lab software management.
• Manage help desk tickets and ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate hardware disposal as required.
