Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations for its Tech organization, blending culture, change management, and operational priorities. The role leads a team of ~13-15 people, shaping governance, cadence, and execution across Technology offices.

The position requires strong PM and operating-model expertise, with 10+ years in relevant roles, and 3+ years in P&C insurance. Hybrid onsite 2-3 days/week in Palo Alto, CA or Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in product, project, change management, strategy, or operations roles.
• At least 5 years leading cross-functional teams.
• At least 3 years in the P&C Insurance Industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Tech operating rhythms and high-performance culture.
• Lead teams responsible for cultural transformation, change management, and operations.
• Set strategy and drive execution for Tech RTO program and organizational readiness.
• Oversee centralized EA support for applications, design, AI, and analytics.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Communications, Risk, and Real Estate to accelerate Tech delivery.
• Establish governance for Tech-wide initiatives and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Drive leadership alignment, engagement, and adoption of key initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
