Langley Federal Credit Union seeks a Vice President of Technology Strategy & Architecture to lead the enterprise architecture, define the technology roadmap, and drive stack rationalization as the company grows toward $10B in assets. This is an in-person role at the City Center Headquarters in Newport News, VA.

You will shape standards, oversee governance, and mentor the Architecture team while coordinating with CIO and business leaders to balance innovation with risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is required; master's preferred.
• Ten+ years of progressive technology experience required, including architecture leadership.
• Experience establishing enterprise architecture practices, technology standards, and architecture review processes.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives the rationalization of Langley’s technology stack and presents decisions to the CIO for approval.
• Develops technology strategy and target-state architecture to support growth to $10B in assets and advises on emerging tech and vendor shifts.
• Owns enterprise architecture principles and technology standards across applications, security, and integration, ensuring platform teams follow them.
• Leads portfolio analysis and governance, providing standards input to vendor evaluations and technology procurement.
• Leads and develops the Technology Strategy and Architecture team with workforce planning and performance management.
