Robin Hood is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Advisor, Technology Sector Engagement to build a dedicated tech donor portfolio, engage stakeholders across Advancement and Program teams, and translate complex program work into compelling donor opportunities.

The role emphasizes strategic relationship-building, sector-specific fundraising leadership, and flexible engagement with a focus on New York City's tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Genuine fluency in the technology sector.
• Proven track record managing five- or six-figure partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial instincts for building new programs.
• Ability to translate program details into compelling donor communications.
• Comfort collaborating across Advancement and Program teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a tech-sector donor portfolio with primary relationship management.
• Develop tailored engagement strategies based on data and donor context.
• Create sector-wide engagement plans with coherent, peer-driven approaches.
• Foster trust-based relationships through meetings, outreach, and events.
• Coordinate with Robin Hood leadership for in-person donor meetings and convenings.
• Source new prospects via referrals, events, and introductions.
• Stay informed on programs and funding needs related to tech donors.
