Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Strategic Planner to join the Strategy team as a Strategy Analyst. The role involves evaluating investment opportunities, developing business cases, and driving strategic initiatives across multiple sites.

The candidate will coordinate technology scouting, analyze startups for potential minority investments, and support partnership development to create long‑term value for the corporation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business/finance/engineering/science, or Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize business and financial insights.
• Experience in financial analysis, strategy development, and/or project management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Technology Scouting Initiatives and manage sector tech scouting & startup engagements.
• Source, Analyze, And Execute Strategic Investments for minority equity investments.
• Support Development and Execution of Strategic Partnerships and track performance metrics.
• Support Ad Hoc Analysis And Special Projects with executive-level presentations.
