Job summary

Vista Fulfillment Group is seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee approximately 15 warehouse employees and ensure daily work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.

You will assign work, monitor progress, coach staff, and use our warehouse systems (WMS/OMS/ERP) to improve workflows, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Santee, CA.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience directly supervising employees (10+ staff) in warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Strong practical technology skills, including confidence learning unfamiliar software and troubleshooting common hardware and connectivity issues.
• Experience using WMS, OMS, ERP, or similar systems to manage daily operations, track work, and investigate exceptions.
• Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, IF statements, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of approximately 15 warehouse employees across receiving, put-away, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Assign responsibilities, communicate priorities, and ensure employees understand what needs to be completed and by when.
• Monitor progress against daily targets, shipping deadlines, accuracy standards, and workload priorities.
• Adjust assignments and staffing as order volume, freight schedules, absences, and backlogs change.
• Maintain an active floor presence, identify obstacles, and resolve issues before they create larger delays.
• Train and coach employees, address performance issues, and follow through on accountability.
• Work alongside the team when needed while maintaining oversight of the operation.
• Keep the Warehouse Manager informed of results, staffing needs, delays, and issues requiring attention.
