Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow our team in a fast-paced store environment. You will drive retail sales, identify customer needs, and provide top-down tech solutions. You'll participate in ongoing training, manage inventory, and expand your customer base through calls and community events.

A strong emphasis on communication and service is essential for success. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with individual-based commissions up to $18,000 annually;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of sales or customer service experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with schedules provided four weeks in advance.
• Preference for experience in a commission-based environment or proven sales ability.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for cutting-edge technology and excellent customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by asking the right questions and building connections.
• Present product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication skills to meet customer needs with intuitive tech solutions.
• Continue development through ongoing training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory roles.
• Grow your customer base through outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store at off-site Verizon events to expand the loyal customer base.
