Verizon is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Norfolk, VA. This full-time role offers base pay of $16.59/hour, with potential to earn commissions and reach total compensation of $65,000 to $75,500+ annually depending on sales performance.

You will grow your career by helping customers with cutting-edge technology and delivering exceptional service in our retail store. You will work a 40-hour week, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
