Job summary

Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, LLC in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a detail-driven Medical Scribe to support providers by documenting patient visits in real time and handling the documentation behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant/Scribe program or 1 year orthopedic scribe experience.
• CNA, Pre-Med students or equivalent healthcare certification are encouraged to apply.
• 2 years of healthcare or back-office experience (orthopedics a plus!).

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient visits in real time.
• Enter history, exams, results, treatment plans & prescriptions into the EHR.
• Assist with labs, radiology reports, and provider orders.
• Maintain HIPAA and HOPCo compliance.
• Assist with training and mentoring other scribes and staff.
