Responsibilities include entering histories, exams, results, and treatment plans into the EHR, assisting with labs and radiology reports, and maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant/Scribe program or 1 year orthopedic scribe experience.
• CNA, Pre-Med students or equivalent healthcare certification are encouraged to apply.
• 2 years of healthcare or back-office experience (orthopedics a plus!).
• Tech-savvy, detail-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Accurately chart patient encounters: history, exams, diagnostics, labs, treatment plans, prescriptions, and discharge instructions.
• Enter history, exams, results, treatment plans & prescriptions into the EHR.
• Assist with labs, radiology reports, and provider orders.
• Support seamless patient care while maintaining HIPAA standards.
• Interact professionally with patients, providers, and team members.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and HOPCo policies.
• Support patient care and care coordination as needed.
• Assist with training and mentoring other scribes and staff.
• Demonstrate ongoing competency and commitment to excellence.
