Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an entry-level Emergency Vehicle Installer for our state-of-the-art facility. This full-time role involves installing and testing 12-volt emergency equipment across diversas vehicle types, with training provided to build skills and confidence.

You will plan wiring routes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with a small team to ensure clean, reliable installations. Occasional overtime/weekend hours support time-sensitive projects.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged; training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment—light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more.
• Configure units for sedans, SUVs, motorcycles, and ATVs; upgrade fleets and service installations.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting; perform electrical modifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Keep workspace and tools safe, clean, and organized.
• Learn cutting-edge techniques and product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Pitch in with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
