Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer (Full Time) for our state‑of‑the‑art facility. You will install, test, and service 12‑volt emergency vehicle equipment across a variety of vehicles, from sedans to motorcycles.

We offer hands-on training for entry‑level candidates, a safe work environment, and overtime opportunities to meet project deadlines. A valid driver’s license and safety mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged and training provided.
• Ability to work safely with tools; basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; follow directions and work well in small teams.
• Preferred: experience in emergency or law enforcement vehicle installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment (lights, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, cameras, laptops, consoles).
• Configure brand-new units and upgrade fleets; service prior installations.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting; perform electrical modifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace and tools.
• Learn new techniques and product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions.
