Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer for our state-of-the-art facility. This full-time role covers installing, testing, and servicing 12-volt emergency equipment across sedans, SUVs, motorcycles, and ATVs, with training provided for entry-level candidates.

You will plan wiring routes, diagnose issues, document work, and stay safe and organized. Occasional overtime/weekends support time-sensitive projects and growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged; training provided.
• Ability to work safely with tools and follow directions.
• Basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred: experience in emergency/law enforcement vehicle installations or related automotive/electronics fields.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment (light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, cameras, laptops, consoles, etc.).
• Configure brand-new units and upgrade existing fleets; service prior installations across various vehicles.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM interior trim and components as needed.
• Plan wiring routes for efficient troubleshooting and perform necessary electrical modifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automotive equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace and tools.
• Learn techniques and new product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
