Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to a 12-week Summer internship designed to build your technical, business, and sales engineering skills while exploring a career in Technical Sales. You will work with industry leaders to gain real-world experience in building systems and controls.

You will interact with Sales Account Managers and customers, learn the design and sale of HVAC equipment and building automation, and have the chance to join our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full internship duration.
• Preferred majors include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, functions, calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Learn steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as daily point-of-contact in solution-making.
