Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Tech Risk and Controls Lead - Third Party Risk to identify, assess, and mitigate technology and vendor risks impacting our operations.

You will partner with product teams, vendors, and business controls managers to ensure robust controls aligned with regulatory expectations. Join a dynamic Corporate Technology Risk and Controls team where you will drive risk assessments, deliver dashboards, and report risk posture to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in tech risk and controls.
• 7+ years in third-party risk management or related disciplines; bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of OCC, FFIEC, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Experience using enterprise AI for risk workflows with strong validation habits.
• Ability to review AI-assisted risk summaries for security and regulatory alignment.
• Proven ability to translate risk insights to executive-level decisions.
• Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and communicate technology risk with root-cause analysis and remediation guidance.
• Strengthen third-party risk assessment and control environments; advise on control implementation.
• Perform third-party risk assessments and contract deviation reviews across applications.
• Liaise with application teams, vendors, risk and governance leads to foster collaboration.
• Prepare reports and metrics on risk trends and program effectiveness for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor residual risks, findings, and control effectiveness; propose enhancements.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate evidence synthesis and executive-ready reporting.
