Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States seeks a Tech Risk and Controls Lead - Third Party Risk to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks affecting operational resilience.

You will partner with product owners, vendors, and control managers to ensure effective controls and regulatory alignment. You will lead assessments, deliver risk reports to senior leaders, and drive improvements across a broad portfolio of applications while leveraging AI capabilities for efficient risk synthesis

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on tech risk and controls concepts.
• 7+ years of experience in third-party risk management, cybersecurity, technology risk, or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of third-party risk management frameworks, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory requirements (OCC, FFIEC, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support technology risk workflows with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations before use, ensuring alignment with security and regulatory expectations.
• Proficient knowledge in data security, risk assessment, reporting, control evaluation, and governance with proven risk mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decisions and translate tech risk insights into business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technology risk across applications with root cause analysis.
• Lead third-party risk assessments and strengthen the control environment across a broad portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver reports and metrics on risk trends and program effectiveness for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product teams, vendors, and governance leads to manage third-party risk.
• Monitor residual risks and recommend enhancements to strengthen risk posture and compliance.
• Leverage AI to accelerate synthesis of risk evidence and draft executive-ready reporting with secure data handling.
