Job summary

RSM in Chicago seeks a Risk Consulting Intern to gain hands-on experience across industries, collaborating with clients and senior leaders. You will contribute to internal control reviews, SOX/IT controls planning, and risk assessment activities while developing your professional skills.

At start, a Performance Advisor will guide your development; travel to client locations may be required, and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed
• Working toward a BA/BS degree from accredited university
• Major in Accounting and/or related degrees
• Major in Information Systems and/or related degrees
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Ability to work as an effective team member
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification or in progress preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with SOX/regulatory and IT controls projects
• Support SOC reporting and other controls engagements
• Contribute to IT controls testing in audits
• Engage with client leadership on risk strategies
