EY is offering a Summer 2027 internship in USA - Assurance - Technology Risk under the 360 Careers program. This internship provides exposure to IT risk and assurance workflows across multiple client industries, with hands-on experience in documenting processes, assessing controls, and supporting SOX-related ITGC work.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Information Systems or related discipline.
• Pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP, or CA.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Hybrid work model expected—in-person 40–60% of the time.
• Interest in IT audit demonstrated by coursework/internship experience.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours when necessary.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Driver's license recommended for travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks, and inform key stakeholders.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Perform tasks including SOC reports, third-party risk assessments, IT risk and control framework design and ITGC assessments as part of SOX.
