Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Technology Risk Consulting Associate to join our Risk Consulting practice in McLean, VA. This role focuses on advising clients on IT controls, risk management, and internal audit to align with business objectives.

Ideal candidates pursue BA/BS degrees in accounting or information systems, with a strong GPA and excellent communication skills. Travel to client locations is sometimes required; integrity and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university.
• There are 2 different types of individuals that we look to hire into this team: Accounting and/or related degrees; Information Systems and/or related degrees.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required; must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients on the design and optimization of controls utilizing knowledge of business processes and IT.
• Identify internal control deficiencies and advise on risk implications.
• Create internal control documentation to support client engagements; engage with client leadership on risk strategies.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Accounting or related degree

Information Systems or related degree

CPA / CISA / CIA certification preferred

Minimum 3.0 GPA
