Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to gain hands-on client experience with internal audits, SOX/compliance, and financial reporting controls. You will sit in client meetings, prepare reports, and discuss results with clients, traveling to locations as required.

Pursuing a BA/BS by Dec 2027 or Jun 2028, major in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or Data & Analytics with a 3.0 GPA. Excellent written and verbal communication, MS Office proficiency, strong multitasking and teamwork are

Qualifications

Pursuing at least a BA/BS degree or equivalent from accredited university, expected completion of degree by December 2027 or June 2028.
Major in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Data & Analytics.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
Certification or working towards CPA (preferred but not required).
Access to reliable transportation to client locations.

Responsibilities

Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projects.
Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients; discuss results with clients.
Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
Complete client projects efficiently within timeline and dates.
Leverage proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development.
