Citizens Bank is offering a Tech Risk Intern position within the Enterprise Technology & Security Summer Internship Program. The 10-week program begins in late May 2027 and is based at one of our headquarters in Johnston, RI, Phoenix, AZ, or Plano, TX.

The role focuses on data-driven risk analysis, dashboards, and process improvements within Technology Risk. You will gain hands-on experience with data from ServiceNow, GRC, and incident data, while building skills in risk management, reporting,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security and Assurance, Computer Science, Software Development or related technology degree.
• Expected graduation May 2028 with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop data aggregation and analysis across multiple sources to identify risk indicators.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to address control gaps and reduce risk exposure.
• Create and maintain reporting views, dashboards, and trend analyses for risk managers and stakeholders.
• Support evidence collection, documentation drafting, and stakeholder coordination within the risk portfolio.
• Observe and participate in control testing, process walkthroughs, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, including automating data pulls and refining analytics workflows.
• Apply AI tools through prompt engineering to support data analysis and summarize trends.
