Job summary

F2 is seeking a Technical Recruiter to help build the engineering and technical teams in San Francisco. You will own searches end-to-end, partnering with engineering leadership to identify exceptional engineers and map talent markets, including candidates not actively looking for opportunities.

This hands-on role focuses on sourcing passive candidates in competitive markets, developing talent maps, and shaping interview processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience with meaningful experience hiring technical talent.
• Track record of sourcing and hiring exceptional software engineers.
• Strong technical sourcing skills and ability to identify great candidates beyond obvious profiles.
• Comfortable recruiting passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets.
• Strong judgment and ability to calibrate quickly with technical hiring managers.
• Excellent candidate management and closing skills.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders.
• Comfortable managing multiple searches and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• High ownership, low ego, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Excited to work in person with the team in New York.

Responsibilities

• Own technical searches end-to-end across Engineering and other technical functions
• Build deep pipelines of exceptional passive engineering talent
• Develop talent maps across target companies, technical backgrounds, and geographies
• Partner closely with engineering leadership to define profiles and calibrate on talent
• Source and engage highly sought-after candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach
• Run a high-quality candidate process from first conversation through offer and close
• Communicate F2's technology, product, and engineering culture to candidates
• Help hiring managers build structured interview processes and scorecards
• Use recruiting data and pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring velocity
• Maintain an exceptional candidate experience while operating with speed
• Help improve our recruiting systems, processes, and tools as we scale
