Job summary

PNC in the United States is seeking a Project Manager II within its Technology organization, based in Birmingham, AL (with other eligible locations). You will lead medium to large-scale projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and governance.

The ideal candidate has experience in regulated environments, strong risk and stakeholder management, and familiarity with AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing large cross-functional projects in regulated industries.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum certification preferred but not required.
• Exposure to AI initiatives, governance, or operationalization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, governance structures, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk, compliance, and operations to achieve objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
• Facilitate governance meetings and provide executive-level reporting on status and KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and risk-management requirements.
• Manage change control and support organizational change management.
• Coordinate resources across business units and vendors.
