Job summary

PNC seeks a Project Manager III to lead complex programs within the Tech PMO Management Retail organization. Based in Birmingham, AL or other locations, you will drive initiation, planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget while coordinating with diverse teams.

You will manage scope, risks, and resources, provide regular updates, and advocate for process improvements in a fast-paced in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management across lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and governance in complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management and stewardship for assigned projects and programs, including budget planning, forecasting, expense tracking, and resource optimization.
• Monitor projects to ensure compliance with project management policies, governance standards, risk controls, and required documentation.
• Lead medium to large-scale projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, leadership, and project teams.
• Monitor project performance and provide status updates, metrics, and executive reporting.
• Ensure project scope, objectives, and deliverables remain aligned with business needs.
• Manage competing priorities and drive timely decision-making to maintain project momentum.
• Support change management and adoption efforts associated with project implementations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards, methodologies, and governance requirements.
