Job summary

ImagineX in Columbus, OH is seeking a proactive Technology Program Leader to run our DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practice for a client. The role requires onsite visits five days a week and direct management of hands-on DevOps/SRE engineers while partnering with the Lead Technical Architect to drive operational excellence.

You will bridge strategic leadership, client engagement, and technical execution, translating complex cloud and infrastructure concepts into clear business outcomes

Qualifications

• Leadership background: 5+ years in technical program management, engineering management, or delivery leadership in enterprise or tech consulting.
• Technical literacy: solid DevOps, SRE, CI/CD, cloud (AWS/Azure), and monitoring tools knowledge; able to follow high-level architecture discussions.
• Stakeholder management: exceptional communication with executive sponsors and engineering teams.
• Proactive drive: self-starter who builds structure in ambiguity and drives improvement independently.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of hands-on DevOps and SRE engineers; oversee performance and career development.
• Serve as the key liaison between executive leadership, client stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Partner with Tech Lead to oversee infrastructure modernization, CI/CD optimization, monitoring, and incident response.
• Maintain awareness of technical progress without hands-on implementation.
• Engage clients as a trusted advisor ensuring transparency and seamless service delivery.
