Job summary

NU Advisory Partners has been retained to lead the search for a Chief Technology & Product Officer for a profitable, investor-backed tech-enabled healthcare services company. As a member of the executive team, this leader will own engineering, infrastructure, data, AI, and product management, and turn the company's growth strategy into a focused technology and product agenda.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive technology leadership, including executive experience in a highly regulated environment, i.e. healthcare, financial services, insurance, etc.
Hands-on technical depth across architecture, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and data platforms.
A track record of modernizing complex, fragmented technology environments, including platform consolidation and cloud and data migrations.
Experience spanning both technology operations (infrastructure, hosting, security, client onboarding) and product engineering and management.
Proven experience putting AI and analytics into production for business‑critical processes.
Experience in a profitable, capital-efficient growth environment; private equity or growth equity experience is a plus.
Background in tech-enabled services is strongly preferred.
Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to explain technology choices in business terms.
A collaborative, low-ego leader who moves easily between strategy and detailed execution, and takes ownership of getting results.

Responsibilities

Assess the current technology landscape, team, and spend, and partner with the CEO on a multi-year technology and product roadmap.
Streamline and modernize applications and infrastructure so the platform scales with less custom effort per client.
Make technology investment decisions through clear business cases balancing growth, client commitments, efficiency, security, and long-term value.
Define company-wide direction for data and AI with governance and practical use cases delivering measurable results.
Work with experts to build AI-powered decision support into core workflows with validation and oversight.
Improve data quality, structure, and governance to power trusted analytics and unlock value from proprietary data.
Strengthen product management and clarify decision rights across product, engineering, ops, and commercial teams.
Build standardized onboarding and integration approaches to bring on several new clients without delays or quality loss.
Run secure, dependable hosting, infrastructure, and enterprise systems with metrics for reliability and ROI.
Evaluate and develop the team, close capability gaps while keeping delivery on track.
Represent the company's tech and AI capabilities credibly with clients, partners, and the board.
