Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Technology Portfolio Governance within the Strategy & Governance team of the Global Technology Organization in San Francisco.

You will own planning, demand intake, capacity alignment, and reporting, partnering with product, engineering, finance, and vendors to ensure accurate demand, capacity and governance across the portfolio. The role requires 8–10+ years in portfolio governance, strong Agile experience, and hands-on use of Jira, JPD, and Clarity.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in technology portfolio governance, demand/capacity management, or vendor operations.
• Strong Agile and Quarterly Planning process experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and Clarity for roadmap and financial tracking.
• Solid project management fundamentals and ability to report across multiple workstreams.
• Experience in vendor delivery operations and SOW governance.
• Experience presenting operational data to senior technology leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support Annual and Quarterly Planning by consolidating portfolio demand, capacity, and baselines.
• Own the demand intake process end-to-end with clear scope and funding.
• Coordinate demand-capacity planning with PdMs, TPMs, Engineering, and Finance.
• Oversee resource planning across MSP and non-MSP populations and onboarding into Clarity and Jira.
• Maintain Clarity data hygiene and audit processes.
• Track vendor and MSP utilization against capacity ceilings and flag risks.
• Ensure governance of vendor timesheets and Clarity allocations.
• Create training materials and hold office hours for TPM and Engineering teams.
• Produce recurring portfolio reporting and assist with quarterly leadership readouts.
