Job summary

Empower is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the delivery and evolution of our technology platforms, including AI-driven features and experimentation. You will partner with engineering, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and advance platform roadmaps.

You will own backlog management, write technical specs, and monitor performance with KPIs and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience in technical/platform contexts.
• Experience with Agile development and coordinating backlogs.
• Ability to write technical specs and evaluate system tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Support platform roadmaps, including feature definition, prioritization, sequencing, and delivery.
• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Define requirements for data pipelines, decisioning policies, experiments, lead allocation, logging, data contracts, and SLAs.
• Partner with engineering, ML, and data teams to plan and deliver platform capabilities.
• Manage product backlogs and coordinate Agile activities, including sprint planning, refinement, and releases.
• Collaborate with senior product managers to evaluate technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and risks.
• Support platform governance, documentation, versioning, approvals, and compliance processes.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and adoption through KPIs, SLOs, and operational metrics.
• Analyze data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support platform enhancements, integrations, migrations, and technical improvements.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.
