Pivotal Solutions in Tysons, VA seeks an AI Technical Product Manager to own and evolve the core platform that underpins product development, deployment, and operations. You will define the vision for foundational platform capabilities, drive AI-driven development practices, and partner with engineering to improve developer velocity, reliability, and scalability.

The role requires strong technical depth, experience with building or scaling internal platforms, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

Strong technical background with software engineering or platform experience.
Experience building or managing internal platforms used by multiple engineering teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization, observability, and automated testing.
Experience or strong interest in AI-driven software development.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own platform strategy and roadmap for core platform services, tooling, and infrastructure.
Lead AI-driven development processes and tooling integration across engineering teams.
Improve developer experience with modern engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
Define platform capabilities for internal and external use (APIs, SDKs, services, tooling).
Make technical decisions and tradeoffs, aligning with long-term platform goals.
Define and track data-driven platform metrics to guide roadmaps.
