Job summary

Empower LLC is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support the delivery and evolution of technology platforms, including generative AI, decisioning, personalization, and experimentation capabilities. You will work with engineering, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver scalable, reliable capabilities.

You will manage backlogs, define data pipelines, SLAs, and collaborate with ML teams to plan and deliver platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in technical or platform-focused roles
• Experience working with engineering teams in an Agile development environment
• Experience supporting technical roadmaps, managing backlogs, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
• Ability to develop technical specifications and evaluate code, data contracts, and system tradeoffs
• Working knowledge of systems architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and system integrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and execute within an established product strategy

Responsibilities

• Support platform roadmaps, including feature definition, prioritization, sequencing, and delivery
• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
• Define requirements for data pipelines, decisioning policies, experiments, lead allocation, logging, data contracts, and SLAs
• Partner with engineering, ML, and data teams to plan and deliver platform capabilities
• Manage product backlogs and coordinate Agile activities, including sprint planning, refinement, and releases
• Collaborate with senior product managers to evaluate technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and risks
• Support platform governance, documentation, versioning, approvals, and compliance processes
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and adoption through KPIs, SLOs, and operational metrics
• Analyze data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for optimization
• Support platform enhancements, integrations, migrations, and technical improvements
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
