Job summary

Cagayan State University is seeking a results-driven intern to join our US-based sales team on the West Coast. You will engage with mid-size to large enterprises, identify opportunities, and help shape partnerships through hands-on prospecting and collaboration with engineering.

As an engineering-oriented intern, you’ll gain exposure to technology-driven markets across robotics, hardware, and AI-driven hardware projects, while contributing to proposals, sourcing support, and KPI-driven

Qualifications

• Engineering mindset demonstrated through projects, coursework, or personal builds.
• Experience in technical or sales roles via internships or full-time positions.
• Comfortable initiating contact by phone with unfamiliar people.
• Available for a 6-month, full-time internship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and qualify new partners from mid-size to large enterprises on the West Coast.
• Conduct outbound phone prospecting to engage decision-makers.
• Visit prospects, attend trade shows to build face-to-face relationships.
• Co-develop tailored proposals with the engineering team.
• Support candidate sourcing as the US team grows.
• Report to the sales team and help set KPIs to track performance.
