Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Technology Partner Engineer to serve as the technical bridge to partner developers. You will guide integration lifecycles from architecture through marketplace launches, advising on OAuth, logs, and OpenTelemetry, while co-building roadmap with product and engineering teams.

You will review architectures, perform deep-dive code reviews, and troubleshoot complex challenges for partners. This role combines consulting with platform advocacy in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years in a technical role (Partner Engineering, Support Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Software Development).
• Proficient in Python or Go.
• Observability fundamentals (Metrics, Logs, Traces) and OpenTelemetry.
• Able to explain complex concepts to developers of varying skill levels.
• Comfortable working with APIs, Linux environments, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for partners, advising on OAuth, log pipelines, and MCP/API integrations.
• Co-build with partner, Product and Engineering teams to drive joint roadmaps and launches.
• Perform architectural assessments and deep-dive code reviews for partner integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges via dedicated consultations.
• Identify friction points in the Datadog platform and improve developer experiences.
• Maintain public developer docs and internal tracking for transparency and scale.
• Track AI/ML and data platform trends to identify new partnership opportunities.
