Job summary

Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual and media technology, seeks a Director of Technical Operations in Texas. You will manage the design and integration strategy to support diverse customers, while collaborating with sales leadership to develop strategies and drive positive P&L results.

You will lead Tech Ops staff, oversee budgeting, staffing, and schedules, ensure quality controls and safety, and partner with multiple divisions to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading operations in high-tech, electronics/AV manufacturing or IT.
• Experience with in-house and outsourced AV manufacturing/integration.
• Two years leadership with P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Meet financial targets by managing operating expenses and maximizing revenue.
• Approve all labor estimates before they are sent out.
• Lead and retain high-caliber Tech Ops staff via coaching and development.
• Develop Tech Ops strategies and departmental budgets.
• Maintain master project schedules and ensure smooth handoffs from Sales to PM.
• Oversee performance against productivity standards.
