Job summary

Bridge Defense seeks a Technology Operations Specialist to support its IT environment, focusing on reliability, security, and automation across endpoints, identity systems, and cloud services. You will work within the IST team to modernize infrastructure, handle day-to-day operations, and implement security best practices.

Based in the Washington area, the role requires hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux, plus scripting skills to automate tasks and improve processes. U.S.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in systems administration or related IT role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience administering Entra ID and M365 environments.
• Experience with endpoint management (Intune or equivalent).
• Hands-on Windows, macOS, and Linux support.
• Network infrastructure troubleshooting (firewalls, DNS).
• Scripting for automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability, security, and operation of Bridge Defense IT environment.
• Administer Entra ID, user provisioning, access policies, identity governance.
• Support GCC/GCC High Microsoft 365 tenants and compliance.
• Manage endpoints with Intune across Windows/macOS/Linux.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, identity, and connectivity issues.
• Develop automation to streamline routine tasks and reporting.
• Apply security best practices and support compliance initiatives.
• Document processes and runbooks; maintain IST documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering for internal automation and improvements.
